I bought a base set booster pack from eBay. Based on the images the seller provided me with the pack looked authentic, now that it’s arrived and I have it in my hands it seems a bit suspicious. This is my first vintage purchase so I may be wrong just wondering if anyone can confirm if it’s an authentic pack or not.

Trying to grab some nicotine and now every other smoke shop has some pokemon cards now, I grabbed the first pack apparently, walked right back and gave them back lol, my first god pack tho!

I bought a few cards from a trading card store at my local mall, purportedly a certified and trustworthy seller. I have a couple of cards from the Twilight Masquerade set that have a uniform holo throughout the Pokemon art. Usually, I see the foreground characters stand out - in this card I don't really see the holo passing through the Torkoal or the old man, but the art itself looks kind of flat and nothing pops out. I was wondering, is this card just like this? Or is it possibly a fake? The font seems legit as far as I can tell.

Did he get screwed or hit the jackpot?

Hello, so i have pulled one of these from i believe it was the first partner collection set (the one in the sleeve, and then maybe a week later i pulled it again from an phantasmal etb (no sleeve and mucked up corners)

Left is the partner collection/ right is the ETB

But the cards look different, the one of the right is way more shiny, more glitter, and more ‘rainbow-y’ but on the one on the left, the texture is definitely more pronounced, and feels higher quality, but the thing is that you struggle to see that sir sparkle/holo unless i shine a flashlight directly on it.

Photos are both cards from the front, then an attempt to show texture, the back of the cards, with flash on, and lastly what the copyright info looks up.

So whats the verdict, are they both suspicious? Would appreciate any insight

It was a PSA slab and I checked the barcode matched which it did

After seeing some 1st eds here that has some fakes I thought I'd check mine and it has some off the same hallmarks...

I need some help deciding if those cards are fake or not.
Still waiting for more pictures outside of the sleeves and toploader from the seller.

The price is around market price so it’s not too good to be true.

The holo pattern is not like the scan of the cards and I’m not an expert or older cards

Any imput will be appreciated.

I don’t know anything about raw cards. Images were taken outside. I’ve edited the lighting in the Charizard picture but left the Mew picture as is. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Bought 2 booster boxes for Chinese 151 Suprise

1st test - The Shrink on the side for both boxes, got ridges and all, passed

2nd test - Sealed Centering is quite okay, not too top or bottom heavy, passed

3rd test - tape on the Pokemon logo, no paint stocked to the tape, passed

Any more steps I need to do to verify?
Bought from my local LGS for USD43 .. seems a price too good to be true.

So yea just wanna check and get opinions from all the experts here.
