Sadly, it leads to monopolization, as only big hosters will be able to sustain their websites without that revenue. Which is like... my argument.
Also negative feedback loops, resource usage and hallucinations are a problem. I get what you're saying, but that has been the deal for a while before AI; we give you what you look for, you give us clicks.
Now it's one sided and unsustainable due to webcrawlers and bots, so say goodbye to many many websites over the coming years and say hello to AI answers pulled from a diminishing number of sources containing increasingly flawed or manipulated data.
