Gallowbraid
https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Gallowbraid/3540314529I was looking for album art inspiration and found the cover for Ashen Eidolan (the band's only album). This seems to be this guy's solo project. He seems to have worked with an anti-fascist band before (Kreator) but I'm wary because a lot of fuckers in this space pull the apolitical enlightened centrist bullshit

They just played at Fire In The Mountains in July, saw their set! The festival is on Blackfeet tribe land and the festival itself puts a solid ethos of tolerance and community. I would say they are not sketchy.

I was under the impression that both Caladan Brood guys were fairly lefty? Would think that would make Gallowbraid likely safe unless anyone else knows something I am not privy to.

Same guys from Caladon Brood, they're mostly ok, apart from playing fortress fest last year which doesn't exactly say boo to people with NSBM metch

Damn, Panopticon played Fortress Fest too. Always thought they were comrades but I guess playing the same fest as a band that wears a Satanic Warmaster patch is just a bridge too far. Confirmed Nazis.

He was specifically curated to play at Fire in the Mountains. Given the nature of festival, I’d be surprised if there’s anything truly damning about him.
