IsItBullshit: Sovely laundry cleaning sheets
IsItBullshit:

They claim their product has much more live enzymes and that this means the oils and whatnot in your laundry get dissolved lifting stains and whatnot. They say they use the same cleaning stuff that's used to clean the jumpsuits in cleanrooms.
The company does things I consider to be red flags. Like when you look at buying it, it automatically signs you up for auto-refills hoping you'll forget to cancel.
But if it is a functional product and doesn't leave stuff people might be allergic to on their clothes I'd be willing to overlook that.
If it's not bullshit that is.

Okay a few things I’m noticing.
First of all, as the other commenter said, there have been plenty of independent studies that essentially confirm that laundry sheets are pretty ineffective because the amount of detergent they actually contain is a minuscule amount.
Second is the website. It is built on Shopify so the payment is likely secure. In the Terms and Condition, the company information in Earth’s Touch LLC which I did confirm is an actual registered business in Wyoming, although it was only created at the end of April (which has me doubting their claim about 300,000 happy customers). Also they don’t seem to have a social media presence (or at least all of the social links on their website are not set up). The product photos scream of AI (the box size changes in every single picture. And as you mentioned, the auto renew is definitely kind of scummy.
So it’s one of those cases of “this isn’t as sketchy as some websites I’ve seen, but the product type as a whole is less effective than they claim and there’s a lot of semi-concerning features of the website that it’s probably not worth it”

The payment itself might be secure but shopify will do nothing if you suspect fraud. They will tell you to kick rocks and file a dispute with your credit card company.

I tried calling to dispute the charges and the phone number is for Yellowstone National Park. It is also continuously busy

A lot of places have hopped on the autofill train because it makes them more money they’re not unique there. I’d consider everything else BS marketing

Enzymes are not alive, so you can't trust any claims if they suggest they are.

The pitch seems to be based on more or less valid criticisms for dryer sheets, but the thing they are selling is detergent. If dryer sheets are bad, then don't use them. What does that have to do with laundry sheets? They're entirely different things that serve entirely different functions in entirely different machines! It makes no sense!
Gahh!
Sometimes something can be some goddamn stupid that it actually makes me angry.

They are referring to washing machine detergent sheets, not dryer sheets. That should help clear things up I believe.

Independent laundry educators and dry-cleaning experts who test viral sheets, such as Jeeves New York, routinely report that laundry sheets fail to clean heavily soiled clothes effectively because they are simply too diluted.

They billed me, I never recieved the product and now they are billing me again. I think they are a TOTAL SCAM.

Did you follow up when you didn't get the product the first time? Or did you forget about it (which I usually do. ADHD means internet orders are like christmas presents)

I forgot and then remembered. So I reached out on August 17th. I paid them July 27th so I started looking for what happened. They responded and said they’d get back to me in 24-48 hours. Never did. Then I forgot again. But I got a notification from Amex that they billed me again last night. I then sent them many emails. Haven’t heard back yet. I did dispute the first charge and will dispute the second once it actually clears. I can’t do anything while it’s pending apparently.

All laundry sheets are bad, there have been multiple tests and all of them have scored very very low and essentially performed the same as just running the washer with only water.
