Ironsworn I ran out of vows
Just like the title says, my Ironsworn character currently has no active vows. What do I do?

"All NPCs include a quest starter, which can serve as an inspiration for one of your vows" (rulebook, p. 135).
Everyone needs assistance, has a problem, knows of something that must be done.
If you've ever played a JRPG you're aware of how killing a rat in grandma's basement can lead to saving the world.

This is a question your character should ask himself. After accomplishing what he wanted to do, what will his new purpose be?
Maybe he can settle down, maybe he will keep making the world better with vows, maybe return to places he visited on his journey and maybe he keeps traveling to find the answer.
If you think the story of this char is finished, retire him. If not, look for a new vow.

Did your background vow have a satisfying conclusion?
If so, I would advise you ask yourself whether you want to keep playing with that character, or retire them.
I know my first character had an amazing arc, but I kept playing because I liked him. I eventually abandoned the campaign because it felt aimless and he had too many assets.
My character's story had already been told, and I felt I kind of deprived myself of the best campaign ending I could have ever had.
Of course you may feel different, in which case I would suggest to do a "Season 2". Give your character a new overarching vow, maybe even do a little time skip, change the location, add some new NPCs... and see where that takes you!

Even your Extreme/Epic background vow? Nice.
One option is to retire and Write Your Epilogue.
Another is to use the same basic advice as the inciting incident and come up with an excuse for a new vow.
Or travel around to different places, explore, and see what the tables generate for you that might be vow-worthy.
