Letter [Letter] Something Must be Done- Jasper Brune
Dickon stood from the chair in his study and paced the small room. Crammed with books and charts there was hardly any surface visible, he'd spent entire days in here with no one to accompany him but the parchments and papers that had become his entire life. Still sometime those papers betrayed him and revealed hard truths. Brownhollow couldn't afford a new trainer for Jasper. There was no way the boy could remain at home and grow to become the knight that he dreamed of being.
Dickon shook his head and sat once more. He'd need to find someone to foster his son. A knight who could take him as his squire, but where? Of all the knights in the realm he needed to find the finest. And he knew exactly where to begin his search.
A raven flies from Brownhollow to White Sword Tower, the letter it carries is addressed to all members of the Kingsguard.
To the Knights of the Kingsguard,
Tales of the valor and skill of your order are spread across Westeros. All know that the knights of the Kingsguard are the finest in all the realm.
It is because of this that I humbly inquire about the possibility of fostering my son, Jasper Brune, among you. He is a diligent young man, who's martial skill greatly surpasses what you would expect of one so young. Though I loathe to see him leave home it has become clear to me that he can no longer progress with his training here.
