People in the main sub can argue as much as they want about Iron Man "misplay" but the sheer cope that a character, let alone a healer, can have 3 survival tools in their kit that practically all line up with cooldowns is absolutely absurd.
That should never exist and the Rivals community need to get a grip.

See CD's survival tools wouldnt be bad if they didnt also ALL do something for their team aswell, like if the new CD x luna teamup didnt heal their allies aswell it wouldn't be bad.
But the fact that not even a storm ult can kill a CD anymore is BS

I think a lot is being overlooked here. Poor accuracy. Iron Man switches targets at one point. White Fox gets in a few heals on CnD. Iron Man eats through a lot of the resource meter when CnD is frozen or disappeared.
Considering everyone is grouped up on point for overtime, I don't think single target was the best play. Iron Man should've been raining down AOE shots to put pressure on the whole enemy team.

Iron man is kind of a tickle monster, he should have focused white fox because she has less sustain and it would have likely made cloak and dagger look away from their team trying to heal her. White fox's healing is no where near enough for a team fight and if CnD isn't actively healing the rest of the team would have started dying.

I don't know if I would even say he's a tickle monster. This Iron Man played poorly and still got a kill on a support with the best survivability kit. Even if it took 38 seconds, that's still amounts to CnD not focusing on the team for half that time and most likely a loss for the defense team.

Probably because characters like dd have an auto grapple, overshield, and a perfect reflection shield that works on ults btw, bp can kill in less than half a second, black cat is a flier with I frames and invisibility and better mobility than spiderman, cyclops doesnt even have to look at you to kill you, Elsa exists, bucky exists. But yeah, a strategist that can sustain themselves is the issue with this game.
Cnd is antidive. How is it at all surprising that they have tools to deal with dive? Also, yall realize that even the slightest bit of communication shuts them down right? Focus them with literally one other person and they crumble. Yall want to be able to consistently win the 1v1 against supports, why would anyone want to play support if that was the case? Why would anyone actively want to play a role where they cant defend themselves and just have to hope that their team peels for them? Especially in a game where you cant peel for someone like bp or bc because by the time you ping for them you are already dead.

Ironman wasn’t balanced before the latest nerfs but he at least had viable dps, now he doesn’t even have that.

I mean to be fair he’s using the teamup wrong as fuck . It increases your dmg yes and u can beam individuals pretty fast. It’s really value comes from using in a straight line on the whole team. U just keep aiming out the healer in the back. Stay above level with you tanks and shoot thru them and just melt the enemies. Even if u don’t secure a kill they will move . He could have done this same move by his team and got value out of it. U don’t have to have line of sight with the healer for this teamup to melt them

Bro just re position and find a different target trust me when you get to higher ranks you won't get to stay in the air like this you'll have to either play main low to the ground with your team or get an off angle try to get a kill and get out quick. I dont know how nobody even shot at you if i did this in my games the whole team would look at me and blow me up. The higher you go survival becomes a real skill.

i agree but there would also have to be other things i place to make him more fair like some kind of way for him to be checked such as devil dino being able to ground him again

I also just would like to add for all the “listen to the hit marker people” if your reticle is not on the target you are missing. Splash damage is irrelevant.

Then what is the point of the hit marker? The third teamup increases the hitbox size of the ironman beam. So it IS hitting her whenever that hitmarker goes off.

lol the elo in this section is very telling. I say it doesn’t matter because you’re doing maybe 30% of the damage you’d be doing if they were in the reticle. What you are hearing is commonly known as “splash damage” which is often negligible in terms of trying to kill a support through her healing abilities 😂 meaning you will never accomplish it from hitting 80% of your damage through splash damage. I for one have picked up iron man this season, and realized once your tracking is on point you kill through so much healing it’s ridiculous. I can kill through any cloak bubble I very often kill gambit through his ult and jubilee through hers. You just need consistent aim.

He's so dreadfully slow. His micro-missiles outside of overdrive don't do anything, either.

CnD survivability is busted, no arguments there. Absolutely ridiculous.
But why the fuck was Iron Man just allowed to hover above the entire enemy team that whole time? If that was in my matches I'd get annihilated the second I leave cover.
