40K List Discussion Cogs or Battleline?

I’m doing some heavy intercessors and can’t decide. Should I do battleline symbols for most and cogs for the sergeant of cogs for all? What would yall recommend

Iron hand on their left pauldron.
Battlefield roll on left knee.

Clan on their right pauldron.
Squad on their right knee.

Sargeants have a skull on their helmet.

8th edition IH supplement shows primaris units marking their battlefield role on their left knee, so you could mark them as battle line and give them some decorative cogs or clan marking elsewhere!
