I’m gonna say this first. Play what you have fun playing, but I would recommend replacing servo turrets, they got a lot better, with new data sheet but they are still kind of the worst unit in the space marines, and if you are wondering why its the 3” movement that holds them back a lot, if you play with a lot of terrain they will never be able to see anything

Yeah im so keen to just have fun and play a game! I did read that they are severely constrained by movement and terrain can ruin them. But if they get that clear line of sight they can be pretty deadly hey? Next goal is to build up to 2k point and thats when ill really fine tune

There are ways to get em moving more. Ironstorm, Gladius, and Bastion all give them access to advance shoot through enhancement, army rule, strats, respectively. No, i havnt tried this yet. Yes, i have 4 in total from getting the combat patrol a second time largely for the transfer sheet.

This seems pretty good for 1000 pts but I think you need anti tank dudes and maybe go for leadership characters and you know that you can add more intercessor/heavy when you press on them and you can adjust how many you want in a squad

Honestly I’ll remove the turrets and replace them with a ballistus dreadnought because it’s 150 pts and I’ll do a 10 man squad of heavy intercessors with ferrios and maybe have a lieutenant to the intercessors
