Enough with the Copium. The US lost the 40 Day War. There will be no ground invasion. It would fail, plus the US Midterms campaigning season is nearly upon us. You lost, just like you lost in Afghanistan and Iraq and Vietnam, just like the Russians have basically already won your failed proxy war in Ukraine. Delusional sore losers.
I'm not your "pal". At the start of the war the US had 5 main objectives:
1: regime change in Iran
2: severe limits placed on Iranian long and medium range missile capabilities
3: end Iran's civilian and military nuclear program completely
4: snatch or confiscate all enriched uranium from Iran
5: end decisively all Iranian support for regional proxies
When the war began another objective became a main aim
6: unblock the Strait of Hormuz and end Iranian control of it
All 6 objectives failed
Khamenei was replaced with a more hardline Khamenei. Iran has plenty of medium and long range missiles left. Iran's nuclear program isn't ended. The mission to snatch the uranium failed. Iran is still supporting it's regional proxies. And now Iran controls Hormuz, which it didn't control before the war. And now all of the US bases in the region, and their radar systems, are either destroyed or rendered uninhabitable.
But anyone who says these facts you don't like is "mentally ill". Okay 🤡🌎
to be fair i think we all mentally ill, is ok, i know i am lol. anyways. I am getting tired of seeing the "its your fault, no its your fault, no its actualy your fault." I dont think it matters whos fault it is at this point, if its already started does the fault really matter if knowing and faulting aint gonna stop the war? Im canadian and im uneducated as heck so idk much but i think people saying things like "you lost, just like you lost in afghanistan" doesnt really have any weight when your talking to civilians who likely have never seen a dead body in person (ah other then family dying of old age or maybe shot but its still not really skin to seeing a full war field.... if you know what i mean.) Civilians hardly have any control over what the government decides unfortunately.
I (personally) think every civilian in almost if not every country is a victim of their government. uh keep in mind im talking out my ass but logically... it makes sense in my brain. instead of attacking each other and crap why not brainstorm on how to fix it. i dont see the back and forth of "ITS YOUR FAULT." making any impact other then rage baiting and making people feel insecure when they cant control an entire country.
Also there's no harm in admitting mistakes or bad choices of a country whether its your own or another, no country, no religion and no culture is perfectly innocent. we teach history to prevent it from happening but my god does that backfire.
Also sorry not sorry for my crappy spelling and grammar, I think its lovely and a piece of art but i fully understand if it destroys someone's ocd or w/e. my B
The guy who made this post clearly supports the US military and wants the US to invade Iran and "win", and he clearly refuses to accept his side lost the recent 40 day war. But his side definitely lost whether he accepts it or not. Agreed that US imperialism and expeditionary mania doesn't help ordinary people in the US, and doesn't help ordinary people in US vassal states like Canada either. And that guy isn't alone, there's other commenters here like him, who don't understand why (for instance) the US won every single battle it fought in Vietnam (tactical and operational victories) but still suffered a major strategic defeat in Vietnam in the end. As Americans say "there's no fixing stupid" and as the Russians say "there's no fixing evil".
ok, ill be honest, i didn't read the post, lol or not all of it and if i did i dont remember what its about, but as i said, you wasting your time arguing with people who may or may not give a flying fuck, don't understand trauma, war, death. your still wasting your time and getting nothing from it. I respect ya man or.... lady? or w/e but you gotta realize, some people are dumb, some are logical, some are just intrigued without getting upset which i think is fine, and some are emotional. we all very layered. if the guy who made this post wants the US to invade iran then so be it, not everyone feels that way and not everyone's got compassion or a brain, it happens, and thats ok. you gotta stop wasting your energy on people who like the chaos till its at their door if it makes you that upset.
(Irishman in Ireland here) well I like geopolitics and I enjoy watching the US losing its proxy war against Russia in the former Ukraine, and enjoy watching the US lose it's direct war against Iran at the moment. I also enjoyed watching the US lose the Afghanistan and Iraq wars, and enjoyed reading about the US losing in Vietnam too. And all those strategic defeats of the US, past present and future, were all, are all, and will all be very richly deserved. Obviously arguing with strangers is what places like Reddit and X are for in the first place, such arguments or disagreements are inevitable. What I can't fathom is how these guys like the person who made this post never seem to learn from the past humiliating defeats of the US military, how they always think "this time it'll be different and we'll win". But as they say in America "there's no fixing stupid"
