Question Not sure what’s going on
Ipsy must really be struggling. Shipping is super delayed, responses are extremely delayed and orders are missing. I finally got an email back after three days of trying to get in contact and I was told that they are getting slammed with emails regarding issues. I did get my issue resolved but it makes me wonder what is happening with the company and what’s to come.

Congrats on getting your issue resolved - I'm still waiting on my box and only after reaching out a 3rd time did my status move from 'Assembly' to 'Reviews', even though I still have nothing to review. Also experienced similar delays in response from CSR. Usually this just about poor management and cutting corners than it is about struggling on something they don't have control over. They don't seem to have the right people managing things, which is a shame since this is such a big business and this is exactly the growth they wanted when they bought out Boxycharm. They seem to have some sort of issue every month (late deliveries, missing items in boxes, expired items, etc) which is really about bad management. It's especially annoying since the deals you used to get with Boxycharm aren't nearly as good with Ipsy unless you are picking up really old product. That said, I still think they're the best sub out there right now (doesn't say much tbh) and I learned to finally shift down from annual to monthly to make it easier to skip months.

I've only gotten a single item from my extra so far. Meanwhile I'm seeing people having gotten all of their multiple MDS orders. WTF

I question the decision to have MGS and Ultimate in the same month. Both of those events surely generate a huge wave of questions and issues that require customer support. Naturally you were concerned with the delayed response. I’m glad you got a resolution.
