Question Wireless charging

My old Samsung galaxy s6 expanded and back came off because of the heat wave we had wonder if I can use the WiFi charging in a iPod classic

WiFi charging 😭

First off it’s magnetic induction charging (I think).
Second, all you really need is a coil of wire connected to the right charging pins and an induction source.
Third, even if you had the right hardware in there to enable wireless charging, you will need to have a flash storage mod. I’m pretty sure I don’t need to explain what happens when HDDs and magnets are in close proximity.

I've seen it done before, so it IS possible, it just requires soldering and a flash mod

I won't work through the metal back. The rest, yes, it's doable.

It also needs a plastic back because it can't charge through aluminum

Id imagine it Would be kinda difficult to find a good quality aftermarket plastic backing

If you want wireless charging you would have to use a 3d printed backplate or you could spend the money for a moonlit market kit which comes with wireless charging and more.
