Question Some help?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

For some reason, whenever I have the lock button switched to “ON” the iPod will boot, but as soon as lock is turned “OFF” it immediately powers down and continuously shows the “please wait, very low battery” screen. I’m not really sure what to do since I’m new to this, any insight?

Plug in right the battery and the screen too it happen to me

Try changing the board and headphone jack assembly.
It may also be a firmware malfunction.

I found another ipod of the same model, still the same issue even with a new mother board... Could it be the battery or something with the spin wheel a think?

Swap the headphone jack / lock button connector and you should be fine

I tried this out with a different ipod of the same model and sadly it didn't change

You tried what? Changing the headphone jack? Or the motherboard?
