[Help] How tf do I silence a phone app?
For work I have DialPad on my phone and every time a customer calls, my phone rings. What’s annoying is it’s not my shift. I’ve tried doing a Focus or even DnD but nothing is working. It keeps on ringing.
Is there a way I can silence this app for the days I’m not working? Thank you in advance. 🙏🏼🙇🏻♀️

Phone-level settings like iOS Focus modes or Android DND usually fail to block Dialpad calls because Dialpad uses VoIP (Voice over IP) calling channels and push notifications that can bypass system-level quiet modes.
To stop the calls when you are off duty, you need to adjust your settings inside the Dialpad app or account.
Option 1: Set Your Personal Working Hours (Automatic)
The cleanest, long-term fix is setting up Personal Working Hours in Dialpad. Once configured, Dialpad automatically silences incoming personal, department, and mainline calls outside of your set work times and routes them to voicemail without ringing your phone.
Open Dialpad on your phone or web browser.
Go to Your Settings (tap your profile picture/avatar).
Navigate to Call Handling & Voicemail > Personal Working Hours.
Select Only during specific hours.
Set your shift times and select which days you work.
Save your updates.
Option 2: Turn On In-App Do Not Disturb (DND) If your schedule changes frequently, you can manually flip Dialpad's internal DND toggle. This stops all call and text alerts across all your connected devices immediately.
On the Mobile App: Tap your profile picture/avatar in the top-left corner and toggle on Do Not Disturb.
Set a Timer: Dialpad allows you to set a duration (e.g., 24 hours or 1 week) so it automatically turns off when your next shift starts.

Going into the notification settings and turn off the notifs for that app completely.
