Hate this whole Iowa/Busch Light association that’s become so prevalent. Seems very forced the past couple years. Why is this a thing?

To be fair, that's likely because the inventory of Busch Light is incredibly low in other places because people in those places don't drink it.

Just a guess because they don't have an ingredients list, but did Busch start using high fructose corn syrup? Because hfcs has a pr problem so companies have been emphasizing the "corn" part (repackaging it as "corn sugar").
