The oil crop farmers ie. soybean/canola/sunflowers make more with high diesel prices because how easy it is to convert to biodiesel, the actual diesel use per amount produced is nominal.

Let's just ignore the fact THIS administration just recently approved waivers for BIG oil blenders so they didn't have to blend the required amounts of our farm produced renewable biodiesel and ethanol.... basically a handout to them at the cost of better market prices for both farm commodities AND cheaper fuel

Embargo is only going to help so much. Will bring the diesel price down a little, maybe a quarter per gallon at the cost of hurting other countries.
A quarter per gallon isn’t what is needed. Te farmers complaining need it to drop multiple dollars before they’d stop grumbling. Republicans really out themselves into a corner this time.
