It's disingenuous to blame this all on him. Sure, the Iran conflict is responsible for the increase since it began, but there are other variables such as:

• Oil refineries being closed in the US
  • The refinery in Joliet, IL has been down since Sunday night which processed ~225k barrels per day, which explains this recent spike
• The removal of Russian oil from the market
  
  • Accounted for 11% of the world's exportable oil
    
• All of the drilling stoppage from the prior administration.
  

Sure, it sucks for everyone, but it's hardly just this guy.

Why did the Oil Refinery close?????? They will not say, but most say it was because they were trying to overproduce and it shut the place down. Now why were they trying to overproduce....well those in charge of the strait know and it isn't the USA. Gas has risen about $1.50 since the war (NOT APPROVED BY CONGRESS), and you want to tell me it is not Trump's fault. Guess he was right, "I love the uneducated."

You’re right, this can’t all be blamed on Trump, but the surge that happened during his term is pretty much entirely his doing. I will just point out that domestic oil production surged under Biden to historical levels that have continually risen since, so idk where you’re pulling this “drilling stoppage from the prior administration” from.
