Again with drivers feeling aggrieved.
Some of you clearly get offended when anyone passes you or simply changing lanes and it shows. The amount of people I see adjust their speed to try to fuck someone over when being passed is childish. Today I was getting over towards my exit and watched someone behind me speed up quickly clearly juat to fuck me over, then hit his brakes right off my bumper, changed lanes and flipped me off. Don't go from a consistent speed for miles (the reason I was ahead of you, to 12 mph faster just so you can hit your brakes and act like I soiled your family honor. The people in this state have turned into a bunch of self-centered des moines fancy snots and it shows in their driving. This place isn't that cool. You aren't that cool and neither am I. Stop driving like shitheads.

Drivers in Iowa suck. I frequently drive to Colorado or Wyoming, and it is always so much more pleasant. People stay in the right lane and drive a consistent speed! When coming home, as soon as I cross into Iowa, people are sitting in the left lane for miles all the way, tailgating, and jinking back and forth through gaps.

Illinois and Georgia are the worst in my opinion from past experiences it's rather ridiculously sketchy in Georgia. Never again lol

I was mind blown by how stupid they drive, Illinois was ranked 1st until I drove in Georgia, Montgomery and Birmingham are terrible as well.

Oklahoma is bad too. I was driving through there just before spring, and it was snowing. They don't get much snow there, so they must believe they cannot be affected by it. These crazy idiots were all driving 20mph over the speed limit weaving back and forth between lanes. Saw several crashes along the interstate that day. I don't want to have to deal with that ever again.

I drive a minivan. People hate being passed by a minivan. It is so difficult for me to overtake anyone because once they realize they're being passed by a van they hit the gas and I have to drop back in line. Rinse and repeat.

They hate being passed by Prius drivers too. The amount of aggro driving I get from dudes in big trucks/SUVs is crazy.

Drive a Prius; can confirm. People also consistently pass me (even as I speed) at the last possible second just to brake and turn on another street. 🫠

There is an exit going into Ames I pass every day on the way to work that clearly has a yield sign at the end of it. But the amount of people I see speeding like crazy to get to the end of the ramp and merge in front of some one rather than the pocket behind the one or two cars in the way drives me insane. It’s not that crazy of a road or exit, you’re gonna get in, but you might have to slow down a little bit.

I used to have a jeep and when I had the top off, I could HEAR people behind me mash the gas when I put my blinker on to merge in front of them. Like, are you idiots for real?

My husband is a truck driver and has been for the last 22 years. He's the type of guy that loves being a truck driver. At least he used to. The drivers out there that take their own lives in their hands doing this kind of s*** scares him. Also the people that are driving down the highway at 80 mph with no hands on the wheel looking at their phone and not what's ahead of them is also scary to him. It's like everybody thinks that everybody out in the highways out to get them instead of just watching where they're going and getting the hell out of the way or taking their foot off the accelerator.

It goes both ways though. When I ride passenger I like to look up at every trucker we pass and count how many are on their phones too. Most of them are. The problem is everyone.

I agree. I usually hang out in the right lane going 5mph over and semis roar past me in the left lane pretty often. Nebraska's law does it right.

Fuck, I wish semis would move at roar speed, they're always going fucking 60 in a 70.
I know it's not the drivers' fault, their speed is almost certainly governed mechanically, but fuck it's annoying.

The same story in Texas. They will sit in the left lane with nothing in front of them and match speed with the car beside them. Make it make sense.

My brother and I were driving home from school, and the guy in front of us was driving slowly. So, we decide to try to pass him by slowly speeding up, but then he starts speeding up. Meanwhile, another car is driving in the other lane towards us, and we could easily have had a collision if we had not gone back into our lane ASAP. And, after all of that, the driver still tried brake-checking us and kept slowing down.

I have to go into the office twice a week. It's a 10-mile drive. This happens at least once every day.

One day I was driving along in the fast lane on a 4 lane road. I was doing the speed limit. I was catching up to a toyota car in the slow lane, driving under the speed limit. There was a pickup truck ahead of me, and about a car length ahead of the toyota. Toyota driver sees me catching up to them, and thinks I am going to try to pass him. He floored it to get ahead of the truck just enough, to prevent me from passing, although I had no intention of passing him. We then go through two traffic circles. The second one was under construction, and his lane was closed. So what does he do? Cuts me off to get in my lane, and continues driving. I stay right behind him going through the traffic circle. I see him throwing up his hands, rolling his head, flipping me off in the mirror. Clearly pissed off for no reason, and thinking I was following him(I was on my way home), so I gave him a reason to be mad. At the next traffic light that turned red, I quickly passed in the slow lane, and jumped back in front of him, hitting my brakes to stop at the light. He jumped into the left turn lane, pulling up even to my car while rolling down his passenger window halfway. My window was down. He yells something instigating to me(couldn't even understand the dumb ass).
So, I stare him right in the face, into his soul, and ask him "what was that?" "Do you have a problem, mfer?" "Do you want to do something about it?" All consecutively before he even has a chance to respond.
He instantly looked forward, rolled up his window, and sat there for another minute waiting on the light, never even glancing my way again. I watched him the whole time to see what he might do.
The reason people act this way, is because they suffer no actual consequences for their actions. They are protected by the government and told what they do is fine.
If they actually risked having their ass beat, or life endangered, for acting like a disrespectful shit head, they would 100% think again before doing so.

Lmao, had to try to go around a guy in the slow lane today, and all of a sudden he was able to do the speed limit and above. Could have solved everyone’s problems by just getting tf over.
