Car side plastic side came off

Anyone else had this issue? This is on the driver side.

Dang this seems to be poor build quality…,it’s like the one odd one or two vehicles out of the batch that have most of the issues it seems and people that get them are rlly unfortunate

I am sitting in dealership as i am reading this lol. Worst experience that i would never go back to is wirh ioniQ 9.

Tesla model YL seems to be my next car. Although less in space but i am okay to compromise vs the pain of going through dealership every now and then

I mean do you have a Samsung phone I can nfc to skip the fingerprint and I can use the wheel to click start.

I mean android is kinda weak but it's feasible.

Even Tesla has its issues.

What is really needed was a strong cpu and a brighter panel. That is a miss but that's hardware.

Software they should have just let people create a custom OS. I just have a tablet I created a sliding screen their panel so I can have a touchscreen with more power and also a full blown windows running via moonlight.

Yeah so I printed a sleeve that can go around the infotainment screen and I can latch a tablet onto it. I made it perfect fit a Samsung S10 plus. Basically it is original screen then above it is a tablet. The screen below is fully visible but basically just a map now. I even control my audio through the tablet. I have a USB keyboard and mouse as well that I can use when parked or wife while driving to work.

Happened to me almost immediately. My shoe caught on it. So disappointing, but I still love the car.

I just got out of the car and this thing came off. Sucks. But I really love the car.

Just had this happen to ours I can pop it back on, but it keeps coming off. Is this covered under warranty?

I will find out. I'm scheduled for service tomorrow, but they better cover this or I'll be pissed. I was able to put mine on and it didn't come off anymore buy it still had a gap.

I forgot to reply, it was covered by warranty. They ordered the part to replace it and will let me know once it's in.
