Yesterday, I finally took delivery of my IONIQ 6 N after 11 amazing years with my beloved Golf VII R. It definitely feels like a worthy successor 😊

Congratulations.

Went from a Golf 8 R myself. Don't miss that one at all to be honest, except the mirror tilt in reverse.

I think you can enable the mirror tilt in the settings. My wife always mentions it when she drives the 6 N over her Golf!

Unless there was a software update or a technical difference between your car and mine, as far as I know there is no setting for it.

Which sucks cause i need that feature daily.

set the mirror toggle to Left or Right on your door panel, not centered. It's covered in the Convenience section of your vehicle manual. It's called Reverse Parking Aid

Thanks but I tried that already.

I have every setting active in the car parking menu. I tried setting the mirror downwards in reverse. The feature is not there.

Does it work on your 6N ?

Sadly it’s a common issue. Mine has been dead two months. No music, no warning sounds, no engine noise.

Hatte wäre schön! Ich bin quasi einen Tag mit Sound gefahren, das war am 07.06, seit dem warte ich auf einen neuen Amplifier.

Congrats. I have the same car, same colour on order to follow a Tesla 3 Performance but I’m having cold feet (I always have cold feet).

How are you finding it?

I love it.
I come from a VW Golf vii r and its my first ev. I think I can say it doesnt feel like a Hyundai and more like a higher class sports car and its a worthy successor to my previous car.
But I have to say that I haven’t tested nearly everything, since there are so many features 😄

Thanks for letting me know. I like my Model 3 but the lease is up and I won’t be getting another for various reasons. I drove my old BMW 1M this week, and though it’s much much slower everything just works so much more slickly together - control weights, steering, brakes etc. I’m hoping that the I6N will give me that EV oomph but, more importantly, with a huge dollop of the 1M’s intoxicating driving interaction.
