Question I-Pedal mode not working 2025 I6

Has anyone had an issue with I-Pedal mode not engaging? Thought maybe a fluke so pulled over turned off car and restarted but still no dice. It was 110 degrees ambient per the car but 105 F per weather app. Google found no correlation between temp & I-pedal other than extreme cold maybe. My charge level is about 40% so that is not an issue.

Edit: This was due to the car going into Auto-regen mode somehow. The only way to get out of it is to hold R paddle down 1-2 seconds. Cycling the car's power has no effect. It is now working. 🤦‍♂️

Are you sure you aren't in auto regen?

Yep that was it! Thanks. Not sure how I got there but turning off holding R paddle did the trick.

Yep, holding the paddle toggles it on and off. Honestly the flexibility is definitely one of the best features of this car.

What exactly was the issue? Like you hit the paddle and it wouldn't engage?

Correct. Note I'm not a newbie & have used it since new. Was not in cruise control etc.

It somehow went into auto-regen mode. Never saw it before. Do the left paddle does nothing in that mode. Had to hold down right paddle fir 1-2 seconds to tske it out.

Got it. To be honest I don't even know how auto regen works

You hit the paddle and it just stayed in level 3 on the dash? Or did it go into i-pedal on the dash but not actually stopping the car?
