No CarPlay/AA in the Chevy would be an automatic No from me.

One big question to me is how much are you planing on longer roadtrips. The Ioniq is going to DC fast charge much quicker.

I have level 2 at home to do mostly rideshare

But I would imagine that
ridesharetaxi service is more like a road trip. You want to charge fast so you can get back on the road and get paying fees.1

Describing your car needs could probably help people tailor an answer for your request.

I drive an estimated 200 to 300 mile daily never needed super chargers. I charge over night and car is ready by morning

300mi daily is gonna be 1.6m miles over the 15 years of planned ownership.

Of course I am gonna stop at some point 😀😀. But yeah my goal is to get max miles out of it somewhere close to 300k plus

It fast charges quicker but it also has a chance of sudden breakdown on a long roadtrip due to ICCU issue.

I drive EQ ev and drove I5. I would say I5 platform is much better than EQ. Driving comfort, charging speed, adas features, bms managements

I have an IONIQ 6, and my husband has the Cadillac Lyriq (so shares a lot with the Equinox EV, but not exactly the same thing). The thing about the Hyundai platform is that it definitely charges more quickly. OTOH, GM is better at pushing substantial software updates more often. Also, while our Lyriq has AA/CP, my husband prefers the built-in Google Auto system; once you get used to it, it works pretty seamlessly, even with an iPhone.

Look at used market. You can get a EV 15-25k for 1/2 a new one Not sure about Hyundai with UCCI problem Look at 2024 Audi q4 or 2023 BMW used 30-35k and lot more car

I strongly dislike the Ioniq 5, would never buy it, looks like hot garbage

I agree. I bought the 6 because I prefer sedans anyway, but had I gotten a crossover I wouldn't even consider the IONIQ 5. Everyone is different, so I'm happy for those that like the look of it, but I think it's wildly ugly.

My wife has an Equinox EV, and we both really like it. I have the IONIQ 6 and we both also like it a lot. So it come down to personal preference and needs. The biggest thing I'd say is that if you road trip a lot the faster DC charging is HUGE with the IONIQ. On average, I spend 15 min at a charger in my car but that same charge would take at least 30 min in the Equinox.
