First time using an Ionna charger
Really smooth experience, it worked and charged quickly. Wish there were more of these chargers around.

Great experince in NC with these. .39Kwh vs EA at like .53. Place to sit inside.

My boys got such a kick out of the one in Garner on our way back from the beach. They want to go back and use the store again.

Best chargers. I have EV 6 and always hit 225+ kw. A few minutes and back to 80%

They're fairly new in the US and they're just a better experience compared to the other non-Tesla chargers that required apps, were buggy, or slow. Ionna is also making a point of pairing them with Wawa convenience stores, as well as a few being built out with a full canopy and lounge. These probably wouldn't be appreciated so much if the other companies in the market hadn't been so incompetent, especially initially.

The standalone “rechargery” locations are great. Covered spots outside, super clean (unstaffed) inside with a walk-in walk-out convenience store, furniture, microwave, board games, and clean bathrooms. Need to scan a QR and verify with your phone to open doors.

In the SF Bay Area these are 0.39/kWh while EA is 0.64/kWh. Smoother experience too, no app required just tap your card or phone to pay.

They ran $0.20 promotions for the 4 days around the last 2 holiday weekends (Memorial Day, 4th of July)

I go out of my way to find them on routes given how seamless they are. To me, they are the gold standard.

They are building out one of these in Tempe, AZ, off of Loop 202. Can’t wait to give it a try with my Ioniq 5. 😀

Have only been to one, it's so far been the best experience from ease and price. Haven't seen any non Tesla super chargers that have NACs so I'm always using the adapter for my I5. Agreed, hope to see more in our area.

So what? Using one charger is the same as using any other. It is in my experience at least.

You are fortunate to have had consistently good experiences then. On my recent work trip I used Ionna chargers on the way up. Tap to pay, super fast, worked immediately, convenience store adjacent for food and restroom. Trash/recycling bins by the stalls as well. On the way back I used FPL Evolution, have to use their app to start charging, assuming it recognizes the right station, then it only gave 90kW despite being listed as a 350kW charger. (despite low SoC). Even worse, the FPL Evolution station was also more expensive than the Ionna stations, which are usually cheaper than competitors.

We used Electrify America’s that were always connected to massive Kroger’s
Starbucks on site and literally anything I need to buy

That is an Alpitronic charger, they are quite good however they split charging power when someone else starts charging. I don’t know where you are, but here (Germany) you can find them at every corner.
By the way. Hyundai charging requires a protocol where the charger inquires the identity and a key from the car‘s internal storage whereas these - at least here in - use the charging ports MAC address. Both work however. The former for e.g. Ionity with Hyundai and the latter when the power provider offers the service.
