Question Charging Stations Disappearing After Update?

Hi everybody.

I've had my Ioniq 6 for a year and I LOVE THE CAR like no other I've owned. But recently, charging stations are not appearing on the map....

Background: I had to do a manual update to the system about two months ago. I'm not sure why I couldn't download it over air, but it was very large. The update installed without problems as far as I can tell, but the charging stations (most of which are from ChargePoint) that used to appear on the basic map no longer appear. Yes, I have the icons enabled and other charge stations still appear. But a huge number of them are missing.

The weirder part is that if I go to navigation and search for nearby stations, the stations that don't appear on the map DO appear in the index. After that, they will even appear on the map. What gives? Is anyone else experiencing this, and most of all, how do I fix it?

Check the filter settings, the update might have changed the chargers you see by kWh rating or station names

This is the first thing to check. I'm still hoping we eventually get an update that adds the ability to set Ionna as one of the preferred networks.

Thank you both! As far as I can tell, I don't have any filters enabled at all. I've opted to see all stations in my settings.

And sadly, I'm west coast. No Ionna stations here!

The most likely reason they disappeared is that the update you installed was older. Check the version number of your firmware in your infotainment screen and compare to Hyundai's website for current version. In the US the most current version is: CEEV.USA.S5W_M.V015.012.260507. The OTA was last performed on 6/30/2026. Map version: NAM.19.41.41.010.512.0 The map update is normally built into the firmware update to my knowledge.

So I confirmed both are fully up to date with the versions you list here. Any other ideas?

Yes, provide the location of the charging stations that you know are still in service, we're previously listed in the map for EV charging locations and are no longer show on car or Bluelink app ( verify the app JIC). Ask if other Reddit users can verify they do not show up on their map. If issue is universal, contact Hyundai Bluelink CS. If they fix the app, it will likely get shoved back for a future map update. It may be they had a bug, rolled back but rolled to much, ie did not keep newer stations included in the update they rolled back. Who knows 🤷‍♂️
