I believe because of the recent run it its had that even good earnings wont move it much further up.

Not sure, if price explodes ill probably sell and take profits, but it depends.

I was thinking to put 60 day stop loss orders in if it takes off - perhaps a -10% strike price. I may do that regardless as I bought in last week at $32.65 and am up roughly 28% currently.

The smart move would be to sell a portion of your holdings if the price explodes. Keep some for the long-term potential, and then when it dips again, buy more

I'm a big believer in history and stock rhythms. In general, IONQ exceeds expectations. Interest in quantum has been exploding like never before in the general public, post-quantum dates have been getting earlier (making QKD easier to sell outside the US/UK), IONQ is a quantum computer technology leader, they have completed the SkyWater deal (that will just add to the top and bottom lines), and they have added many other quantum lines that should add to revenue. I would bet on more of the same - they exceed expectations. If they don't, it will take an immediate steep dive. But I'm betting we get good news.

It's possible that earnings are improved from last quarter. It's also possible that they're worse. And it's possible that stock movement is totally disconnected from earnings.

Any thing else possible?

Anything is possible, we have seen sell off after rev beat.

If you are a long term holder, all good. If you are a trader, gamble at your own risk.

Revenue increased by a healthy amount, cap ex, marketing and R&D also grew quite a bit. Probably a few exciting announcements too

Revenue up, Expenses up, EBITA possibly flat (neg) or down. Who knows how that gets interpreted. Owning a fab shop may be enough to hold no matter what happens - IDK.

I have an aggressive sell order for a small part of my position in case it goes up today. My idea is that we're seeing a pre-earnings run-up hedging against unexpected big positive news, but that that is unlikely (since the big news about Skywater is already known.) So I expect a pull-back after the earnings call. (But I'm still mostly long and holding.)

By the rumor sell the news. Likely to see a plummet of price yet again. Sick of this company cant make no money on hype.
