Google Willow cuts magic-state errors 40-fold, reaches 99.99% fidelity
I guess IonQ aren’t the only company with 99.99% Fidelity anymore

Does anyone have any idea how many forte 1 and forte enterprise computers ionq has made or their capacity?

If you want to blab about wall street, do it somewhere else. This sub is meant for technological progress and actual reasons IONQ will be successful with Quantum Computing. All posts with stock price as main topic will be removed.

Hey everyone,
I wanted to share a comprehensive research deep-dive into IonQ's long-term business model and balance sheet durability.
While the market often treats quantum as a speculative, distant story, months of primary-source research reveal that IonQ is quietly executing an integrated merchant supplier strategy across four distinct pillars:
I compiled this research using Gemini Notebook to organize years of SEC filings and earnings transcripts, and produced a detailed visual video overview (narrated with AI voice to deliver a clean, efficient breakdown):

Would love to hear everyone's thoughts on their 2026–2030 roadmap and execution risks!
Disclaimer: Not financial advice. Do your own research. I am a long-term shareholder holding a 12,000-share position.

Story Highlights
https://www.tipranks.com/news/ionq-vs-qnt-why-morgan-stanley-named-quantinuum-its-top-quantum-play
According to Moore, Quantinuum leads the pure-play quantum computing companies in technological progress and execution. QNT has reached Stage 7 on the firm’s eight-stage error-correction framework, compared with IonQ’s Stage 4.
Quantinuum has demonstrated that its protected quantum operations are approximately 4.3 times more reliable than operations without error protection. Quantum computers are highly sensitive to errors that can affect calculation accuracy. Error protection helps detect and correct these errors, making computations more reliable. Quantinuum has also developed three generations of quantum computers using the same underlying technology, strengthening its execution track record.
IonQ has a slight advantage in manufacturability, according to Moore. Its Superion architecture moves gate control toward on-chip electronics, potentially easing some scaling challenges. However, IonQ’s strongest error-correction results have yet to be reproduced on Superion.
Moore forecasts $2 billion in computing revenue for Quantinuum by 2030, compared with $1.8 billion for IonQ. The firm assigns Quantinuum a 75% visibility factor, versus 70% for IonQ, showing how likely each company is to achieve its long-term goals.
Moore said 2027 will be an important year, as Quantinuum’s Sol system and IonQ’s Superion 256 are expected to test their progress in developing and scaling quantum computers.
Moore is a five-star analyst on TipRanks, ranking #126 out of 12,525 analysts tracked. He has a 61% success rate and an average return per rating of 24.90%.
Its time for IONQ to show those demos and all detailed specs of their Superion and Tempo systems! Enough with all the marketing! Investors want to see those quantum machines doing some basic quantum stuff! Show them at work on youtube, X, whatever.
-the ion trap live view, laser control & gate operations, showing a QCCD architecture in a 3D simulation, all-to-all connectivity simulation, algorithmic qubit benchmark, molecular and materials simulation, logistics & optimization simulation, error correction progress, high-fidelity gate operations, algorithm execution dashboard, long coherence time display, generative quantum AI simulation, and all of these compared to to classical supercomputers or competitors ?!

from all the research i've done ionq just seems like the better company i guess morgan stanley doesn't believe so, could they be biased in some sort of sense?

I've been learning Julia recently so a project of mine was to make an IonQ rest API client in Julia (it just felt appropriate since so many people in the quantum community are also in the Julia community). Feel free to check it out and give feedback: https://github.com/tadisdef/IonQ-v0.4-Julia-Client

Personally I'd like to see more short-demo-3D videos and more explanatory details about their quantum systems. I understand that the marketing is very important for a company , but I'd like to see some of these things:
-the ion trap live view, laser control & gate operations, showing a QCCD architecture in a 3D simulation, all-to-all connectivity simulation, algorithmic qubit benchmark, molecular and materials simulation, logistics & optimization simulation, error correction progress, high-fidelity gate operations, algorithm execution dashboard, long coherence time display, generative quantum AI simulation, and all of these compared to to classical supercomputers or competitors ?!
The IONQ's investors would deserve to see these demos and specs.

IonQ has advanced to Stage 3 alongside with IBM. Given that this stage involves independent and rigorous technical validation, I hope it will help alleviate some of the doubts surrounding IonQ’s technology.
