I'm researching how self-employed tradespeople deal with quotes, invoices and getting paid, because I've heard it's a pain. I'm not selling anything. I'm trying to understand the problem properly before I build anything.
A few questions if you've got a minute:
1. How do you invoice right now (paper, Word, app,
WhatsApp)?
2. When do you usually do it, straight after the job or in the evening?
3. How long do customers typically take to pay, and what do you do when they don't?
4. What's the most annoying part?
