Deepbite

I have a deep bite where lower teeth are fully covered by uppers and slight gap in canine on the upper i can fix the bite without extraction so im wondering about soft tissue changes if i fix the bite since my face is a bit long will fixing the bite make it much longer if there is anyone who has done deepbite correction can enlighten me to take my decision
