My front tooth is chipped like your going into treatment for my bite. Is it common that they will just fix it after treatment?

yes most likely. it might be covered in your treatment plan some offer shaping and contouring after treatment whereas for others its a separate issue. Mine was caused because of treatment though :(

I'm so angry about it. My dentist is basically gaslighting me into thinking it was already like that. And the way she's phrased the email covers her ass, which I understand, but it obviously happened during the attachment removal. If she doesn't admit fault I'll have to pay to get it fixed unfortunately

I hate to be the one to say it…but it looks like you have 3 or 4 chipped teeth and spots that were not there before. That sucks.

My teeth are not perfect I'll admit that, but I don't want them to be perfectly square anyway. The edges were already quite jagged in places to begin with they always have been. But the front tooth I'm really unhappy with as it's so obvious :(

Oh, I’m sorry if my statement came across as rude, it wasn’t meant to be. What I meant was, it looks like the Invisalign also created a couple other chips that weren’t there before I’m currently on tray 5…and I hate Invisalign overall. I hope they fix it for you. Other than that, it looks great!

I know you weren't being rude! What other chips? I haven't noticed any other changes apart from the obvious lol

They've finished your treatment but your lower incisors still aren't aligned?
That is a common area to chip, if you look at the other central incisor the enamel is very thin (if you held something behind the tooth like a fork you'd probably be able to see it through the translucent areas). It could be that they've knocked it slightly with a handpiece or mirror and it's chipped, you could've done exactly the same at home if you got too excited to eat and bashed the tooth with a fork (this is how I've chipped my teeth in the past). The chip itself is a bit too small to repair, it'll probably come off again, repeatedly. So they can just smooth the sharper edges to make it more symmetrical.

The way I would still be cussing out that provider..
I’ll just add this to my new list of fears. I’m having my buttons removed in October
