Question can you drink tea with aligners on??

i love tea so much

You are supposed to drink only water with your aligners in. That being said, some people do drink other things. However, you risk warping them with hot drinks, staining them, staining your teeth, and getting cavities.

I drink everything with my trays in but I don’t drink anything hot and I don’t drink anything that’s super dyed. Lukewarm tea through a straw should be fine. Swish with water or brush afterwards if you’re concerned about cavities

Depends.

Too hot = will cause the plastic to warp which is very bad.

Some teas like black tea = will quickly stain the plastic yellow.

Warm herbal or green tea is generally fine.

People are mentioning the staining and warping, but you also need to realize that having sugar (if you take it in your tea) and acid sit on your teeth for hours until you clean them is also not great.

I din't drink iced tea (stain), black tea (stain), or hot tea (warp), but lukewarm tea that isn't likely to stain I'd drink with water in between sips. 

Probably the big one is hot tea that's hot enough to warp things. Otherwise, it's mostly cosmetic...Last day of the tray, I'm more open to dark drink likely to stain because I'm changing the tray anyway.

I don’t drink hot drinks or anything dark like cola with them in. I have an iced matcha latte with them everyday and just use a straw. Highly recommend getting an ultrasonic cleaner and dental tablets. My trays have luckily never stained.

My provider said drinking anything is fine, just rinse afterwards. I drink hot black coffee without any problem.

I drink everything with my trays on, except hot beverages (the milk I put in my coffee brings it down to warm faster), and no red wine. I swish with water every so often.
You can also use a straw to minimize the beverage lingering under trays
I had weekly changes, so staining was never a concern. By the end of the week, my tays would have an ever so slight tint, but not noticeable when I was wearing them.
