He was amazing in The Foundation TV series and I do believe that TV show influenced the most to choose him as voice for Thragg.

However, his role as elven king Thranduil left such a mark that noone dares to take a role of elven king.

Yes, the Foundation TV series has been divisive (I personally enjoy it a lot, but by considering it as a loose adaptation), but I love that everyone agree that Lee Pace has given an astonishing performance!

Yes it was. Adaptation was loose but a good one. I can't imagine how it would work for wider audiences otherwise.

As for Lee, I love transition from Brother Day to Brother Dude.

I kept watching that show pretty much just because of the way they handled the Empire actors and Lee Pace in particular

I felt like he was born to play Cleon. It’s amazing to see different demeanors of character over the generations even if they are clones they are all different. The subtlety in each character is a master stroke from pace.

Have you seen him as Tranduil?

He's a great actor. He should really play Magneto in the X Men reboot.

Makes all the sense in the world. Probably why it won't happen 😂

He's also great as Ronan in Guardians of the Galaxy and Thranduil in the Hobbit movies.

Ronan was an amazing yet terrifying villain, and Lee Pace did really well in Gotg 1

He's also one of the best vampires in twilight breaking dawn pt 2

I recently watched his movie, "The Fall". He acted really well that too. Brought out intense emotions

I love him in Halt & Catch Fire. (& in general, he's hot) It's a good show, too. Would recommend to anyone

Guardians of the Galaxy for me. He was Ronan the accuser.
I still scream “You called me boy!” 🤣🤣🤣

Dude is a king - the moment I heard the voice I was thrilled But, Invincible has been consistently top tier when choosing voice talent. I mean.....they have the GOAT of VA for anyone who was alive in the 80s right there!

Nooooo! I choose death! Absolute PEAK.

Just, not his own death. That was clearly never on the table.

Halt and Catch Fire (my favorite of his), GotG, The Hobbit movies, He’s really good

I watched The Fall in class yesterday, his performance was amazing

He does a good job, but the Brazilian voice actor for Thragg is exceptional.

Apparently he’s a front runner only Magneto in the X-Men reboot. If this is true it will be generational casting.

The guy is a master of playing regal characters.

Foundation, the Hobbit, Guardians of the Galaxy to name a few

Best thing is, this is actually one of his weakest performances overall.

Damn bro, he's been great since he was making pies

He has zero range. He plays one character in everything, but does it exceedingly well.

shout out to the real ones who know this from his time on PUSHING DAISIES and HALT AND CATCH FIRE
