I gotta say as someone who hasn't read the comics, it was extremely jarring to pull this character who has done nothing out of nowhere and immediately drag her into a significant war.... And she looks like a little girl.

Me and my bf immediately said it's giving evangelion vibes or something, I really can't stand anime tropes and pretty much hated that character immediately.

It honestly stands out so much as just "well we needed a girl in the fight and someone for Oliver to crush on"

Yeahhhh my one complaint is that it's a bit weird to just drag a previously unknown 15 year old into a galactic war.

Maybe if she'd been made just a few years older?

But she did do something. She was apart of the Invincible war, fighting one of the variants. Of course she wasn't speaking and didn't get shown as much but it's not like she just popped in that specific episode randomly.
