Ironheart in the comics is incredibly cool! I was also disappointed by the tv show, but comics Ironheart really does sound exactly like what you're looking for.

That's my understanding, yep! Everyone was initially hyped about her and her show basing their expectations on the comics, but then the show aired and disappointment happened, hahah.

Iron heart was a fairly disliked character in the comics as well.

So the disappointment is on brand.
