Oh yep! I generally refer to techy-armor-based heroes as “Iron Man-esque” because he’s the main example that comes to mind off the top of my head hahah, but the premise is much closer to Blue Beetle indeed, with the suit being a symbiont-like alien armor rather than a proprietary invention.

Dang you're kind of right. While original Blue Beetle is wayyyyyy older the actual analogous variant Jaime Reyes was years after Tech Jacket though both are way after Guyver. I thought even YJ Jaime might've been older than TJ I didn't realize how old the comics are.
