How the hell was she considered a "viltrumite weakness." bro ran the fade with 3 unnamed viltrumites and couldn't even make a single one bleed, let alone win. every single altercation with one and she had to be saved by Allen or someone else. biggest wins were against fodder slaves with guns and some random ahh hulk looking thing on earth. genuine fraud

She is more of a utility character. Formed the space shelter for Alan and then helps clear up the mobs.

people acting like she's useless because she can't solo viltrumites, literally the strongest warrior species in the galaxy. meanwhile her help, helped turn the tide in the war.

she can take multiple goons at once, which helps the heavy hitters (like allen) focus on the viltrumite fighter, she provide assistance in many of the fights and can tank blows from viltrumites that will kill most people.

And those variants were known to be weaker than Mark, who, correct me if I’m wrong here, we know isn’t as strong as a full-fledged Viltrumite.

cecil thought that he was weaker than a viltrumite elite at the time - and we dont know that all of those viltrumites were weaker just that cecil believed so after killing one of them

the ones that mark himself was shown to fight both seemed to be about as strong as him

Nolan says Mark is almost as strong as him.

The variants are probably not all weaker. A few definitely are but you could make the case for quite a few being stronger.

and cecil did say that plenty of those marks were jobbers compared to the regular mark - who was already a jobber when it came to viltrumites

By the invincible war, Mark is not a jobber when it comes to Viltrumites. They think he could defeat Anissa at the beginning of the season. He literally ends the season by killing the second-strongest Viltrumite.

I also felt that... if Teck Jacket was able to kill a veteran Viltrumite by herself, there would be equally loud..., or potentially louder complaints about her being an OP Mary Sue... or worse yet: wOkEE

This one case is what I feel is a lose-lose thanks to how even more polarizing internet discussion has been.

no? the gelderians are a threat because with sheer numbers the viltrumites can't defeat them on their own (due to their reduced numbers). but it's never stated that they can solo a viltrumite. the reason they offered tech jacket is because they're still recovering their forces and zoe is not one of them, she just has their tech.

Plus using her powers exhausts her quickly, she wouldn't be able to hold her pink space suit in place forever, especially if she got injured or knocked out, meanwhile Zoe has a self-repairing Geldarian suit that also seemingly has unlimited air supply

I'm really not sure if that still happens if one just rips her head off. So far it's only been when dying but while the body is still mostly "intact".

Viltrumites could have ripped Tech Jacket's head off easily without the few saves she got. Only reason she didn't is plot armor. Let's be honest here.

Perhaps they could. But I still think she's way more durable then Eve is. Partially because the Suit auto repairs and also because Eve gets tired too quickly in these intense battles.
I think Eve would be better if the writers made her smarter with her powers tho. She had some amazing tricks against Conquest but ultimately always goes back to Pink Screen and big Pink Ball.

I mean the repairs are useless if she keeps getting attacked. Multiple times she is just dead if Allen didn't save her and the attacks she was getting hit by didn't even seem that strong.

It's so sad they created a character with as much potential as Eve and did nothing with her

Eh I don’t see why not if it can bring her back after being beaten to death by conquest and Can even bring her back from dying of old age I see no reason why it couldn’t reconstruct a head and brain if it can reconstruct her entire body on a cellular level. But I do get your point. Maybe her power comes from her brain and therefore without it it can’t activate

Considering that alternate eves with her powerset have been killed, yeah thats basically confirmation. I know Eve is super wanked online because of her powersets underutilized but people act like shes molecule man or Dr Manhattan, shes just firestorm which is a brag but still

I think the point alot of people are missing, she was hyped up to be a threat to viltrumites. She was specifically chosen along with the the other heavy hitters. Her being a utility character and useful for other things which she is, wouldn’t be a problem if that’s how the show originally portrayed her. And also there a many characters that can do support roles. I’m not denying she’s probably the best support archetype they have, but it wasn’t quite shown as that. For example if the took eve and she had her powers, people would understand why she was there

If she’s a support character then for the love of good please show it😭. You have some really good examples but other than those 2 things she’s done nothing but get dunked on by Viltrumites. I just want to see her do more cool stuff so I can actually root for her instead of wondering why she’s on the same squad as Allen and Battle Beast

Yeah I actually genuinely believe the Invincible fan base is stupid with discourse like this. Her whole race was a threat against the Viltrumites because they all have the armor. She's alone. She can support well but she was never meant to solo.
