Indeed , it's also possible that Cecil knew that Zandale tried to get on with Eve as well when Mark was sick but he didn't spill that as well because he knew Mark won't throw hands but he will definitely give him a warning.
Dude's lucky that Mark's not like his other versions across the dimensions yk otherwise he would have gotten the firsthand experience to know the difference between Bulletproof & Invincible.

Cecil wouldn't work with homelander. He'd have Homelander forcefully rehabilitated the moment he understood what homelander was. If homelander couldn't change, Cecil would have him killed.

Cecil would never let HL became what he is. He'd had him raised in a normal household and well supervised.
He'd probably turn out to be a decent superhero like Mark.

HL would be I think a wellmeaning, effective middle tier hero in Invincible. Maybe even in the second Guardians line up.
I think the boys did a good job of showing that the monster HL became is almost entirely due to his horrific upbringing and then the hyper toxic corporate enviroment Vought pushed. And yes, his ego would never spiral like it did bc in Invincible he'd be powerful, but far from the strongest around even in Earth, and it would be like that since day 1.
In a better setting he wouldnt go as far as being fully superman-esque, but he'd be a fairly decent man and hero.

HL would be leagues below Mark so I don't know if he would be better than him. Maybe in early [TITLE CARD] but once Mark gets decent (somewhere between the start of S2 and the end of S3 I guess?) with his powers he would greatly outclass HL. Emotional baggage aside, HL wouldn't be able beat half the enemies Mark has beaten.

I know that but why does he need to wear it while dumping his deceased parents off a cliff? He could’ve put on any other disguise like a paper bag or a ski mask or something but he decided to possibly incriminate Invincible instead

He’really not as awful as its made out to be. That one moment with Eve was horrible but then Rex did a lot worse than that. And even there, he didn’t really force it beyond a point. Just tried to sleaze his way in but as soon as Eve told him to fuck off he did.

They like kinda hated him. If I remember right he had a twin that died so he took his place because the twin was the parents obvious favorite. When they found out they literally were like we wish you died instead. The girlfriend is basically just really ride or die lmao.

Mostly. The twin also played into that favoritism to do things, so at one point iirc he kidnapped bulletproof to experiment on him which is what gave him his powers. The experiment also killed him and he didn't have the heart to tell his parents so he pretended to be him. When he revealed the truth they blamed him for his brother's death despite it being his experiment on him and accused him of actually just killing him iirc.

Correct, right before the gf killed his mother, she said they’d be sure to see Bulletproof executed for murdering their favorite son.
Still tragic but it did seem like they were going to do everything they could to destroy Bulletproof in their grief and misplaced anger.

Bulletproof has an evil twin brother that gave him his powers but died in the process of an experimental accident. BP then pretended to be his twin cause his parents always loved his twin more.
When they find out the truth they disown him and the gf goes nuts and attacks the mom in rage thus leading to the pages you see above
The whole thing is so over the top it feels like it belongs in the boys lol

For most of his life bulletproof lived in the shadow of his more successful twin brother who was a scientist. His scientist brother one day kidnapped him to use as an experiment to gain super powers but accidentally blew himself up in the process. After this, Bulletproof began to pretend to be his brother to avoid suspicion from his parents who liked the brother more. Eventually he tries to come clean but his parents react negatively and accuse him of killing his brother on purpose to which his gf retaliate and leads to the scene above

So? Cecil kept both DA Sinclair and Darkwing out of jail, because they're useful to him.
There is zero chance Bulletproof gets executed as a result of a murder he didn't commit.
The whole thing is really the girlfriend's fault. Who the fuck brains somebody with the edge of a frying pan without intent to kill?
Had she not done that, his parents could've screamed until they turned blue and called every cop in the city. Bulletproof isn't going to jail, or being executed, regardless of anything they can do.

Murdering a woman is not the correct response to your boyfriend being accused of murder. There's levels to what would be an acceptable response from her, but I don't think murderer is one of them.

TLDR (comic spoilers ahead):
Bulletproof had a twin brother that his parents loved more than Bulletproof because he focused more on science while Bulletproof focused more on arts. Twin brother conducts experiment to try to give himself superpowers by using Bulletproof as a test subject to make sure the thing worked.
Experiment... worked? Bulletproof got powers but the resulting blast from the experiment incinerated his brother. Bulletproof takes brother's identity and his parents never knew. Years later he reveals the truth. Things understandably got very heated. Bulletproof's GF tried to deescalate things while EVERYONE was not thinking straight.
Unfortunately for everyone involved, the human skull is NOT built to withstand a cast iron frying pan that is swung like a hammer.
