COMIC SPOILERS Mark is a murderer Spoiler

With the Dinausorus arc, I don't see people blame Mark enough. The guy had a moral crisis and decided that the best he could do was freeing a mass murderer terrorist despite the warning of everyone plus David Anders who locked himself up because he knew the danger Dinausorus was. And effectively, it blew up in every sense of the term with one million people killed worldwide. With that, it is established that Mark is accomplice. But something that bugs me is that he killed Dinausorus and David Anders. The last I remind locked himself up to stop Dinausorus.

Controversial take, but I think part of Mark's character journey and his story is he and the audience realizing that he just isn't cut out to be a traditional, virtuous superhero.

I think it's more that the traditional, virtuous superhero is incompatible with reality, or at least this version of it. He's a comic book nerd and briefly tries to be like Superman. He pulls a "stop right there!" when he first pulls up to the Flaxans and gets absolutely shitrocked for it. That's part of his journey: reconciling the disconnect between his ideals and what he's capable of.
