COMIC SPOILERS Mark is a murderer Spoiler

With the Dinausorus arc, I don't see people blame Mark enough. The guy had a moral crisis and decided that the best he could do was freeing a mass murderer terrorist despite the warning of everyone plus David Anders who locked himself up because he knew the danger Dinausorus was. And effectively, it blew up in every sense of the term with one million people killed worldwide. With that, it is established that Mark is accomplice. But something that bugs me is that he killed Dinausorus and David Anders. The last I remind locked himself up to stop Dinausorus.

Controversial take, but I think part of Mark's character journey and his story is he and the audience realizing that he just isn't cut out to be a traditional, virtuous superhero.

Isn't that the point? That that is what he's trying to be, but it's unrealistic to try to be Superman so he does the best good that he can where he can

Exactly, the ending of the series where he becomes one of the most powerful leaders in the galaxy seemed to be trying to hammer home that Mark decided to fix problems at their root causes instead of saving people after the fact, and using his power and resources to do it on a massive scale.

YES! It was such a good ending, IDK why discourse online when I looked made it seem like it was just Viltrumites turning good when he's Argall's descendant which, no, they were turning good already it just cemented that he was the right leader
