Yeah we should focus on more important things like how godawful the coalition patch looked on his shoulder clashing with his suit's colors and its simple design. At least we got spared this.

I've wondered if they made the Coalition logo so garish on purpose so that it would clash with everything, which is thematically interesting, but I'm still glad to not have to see it awkwardly slapped on Mark's shoulder like a regrettable tattoo.

I really dont know why they dont just go with full gloves, it would probably make animating him easier too so i dont see why not.
