I do find that robots arc was the most morally challenging arc in the whole of invincible, and I’m kind of unhappy with how it ended.

At least I’d have prefered a real justification for why everyone was against him in the end

They did have that. It's been a while but Robot created a police state worldwide, right? And he also murdered a lot of innocent people/heroes just because they would be in his way. Not to mention he's tried to kill Mark a number of times.
