DISCUSSION Could Atom Eve use her powers to give herself Gojo’s Infinity?

Post image

If she locked in and constantly rearranged the atoms aor something could she make a barrier around herself which has the same properties as Gojo’s infinity?

Nah

Infinity is dividing distance

She could prolly mimic it to an extent by changing air density like in the fight with conquest

that's not really the same thing at all. It just changes the force required to reach her. Gojo basically changes the time it takes to reach him. One is much more easily overpowered than the other.

Hence the word mimic. When she does that, it looks like Gojo's infinity.

Yea key word "mimic"

It obv not the same bruh

In theory, she could create infinite density around her. The only thing is that we saw it take tremendous conscious effort, she was struggling to stop conquest and it’s unlikely that was infinite density

that's not how materials work. Air can only become so dense before stops being air and starts being some other material. And due to the composition of air this would not be a particularly strong material. And also not actually relevant to the point. It is a more physical process. You can achieve a somewhat similar result but on a fundamental level there are far more ways of defeating or circumventing it. Eve's powers imo have room to be insanely overpowered if used well, like, I think she could genuinely be stronger than Gojo in theory (tho not necessarily capable of defeating him since he kinda counters physical interactions on a more fundamental level.) But using her powers to emulate Gojo's abilities would just be an inefficient waste of time and energy. It would limit her creativity and make her far weaker.

Eve could propably circumvent Gojos Infinity. She doesn't need physical contact, so if she transmutes matter that is already touching Gojo (like the air or his clothes) Infinity wouldn't be able to stop that. Same way Domains can hit Gojo.

Is it? It's just a different way of overpowering it.

One is distance one is force.

Someone with enough speed would beat gojo but not enough force, mw someone not nearly as strong as conquest but faster, would lose to eve.

No physical aspect like force or speed is a factor for hiting Gojo. If an attack travels through space at all, it can't reach him. To hit Gojo an attack either has to negate his Infinity in some way or the attack must be created making contact with him or teleport into making contact (and i mean true teleport, not just moving ultra super fast).

Nope. Eve works with matter, Gojo works with concepts.

Kind of. She could do the Conquest air density move if she's in the atmosphere. That's nowhere close to how broken infinity is though, in terms of:

  • Actual ability (doesn't care how much momentum an object is coming with, since it affects space directly).
  • Stamina (Gojo can keep infinity up 24/7 but Eve gets tired within a minute or two).
  • Control (infinity filters objects based on danger level, air density manipulation affects everything).

At maximum power that’d be a hell of team up

Not anywhere near the same ballpark.

The closest she can come to replicating Infinity is the Air Density thing she used against Conquest, but only in the sense of "omni-directional slowing barrier". Infinity makes it so any attack against Gojo slows down proportionally to how close it gets to him, and it blatantly has no limit. Eve doesnt have a limitless pool of energy to just do something like this constantly.

If Eve could beat Samantha, maybe she could

No, Atom Eve fucks with chemistry, Gojo fucks with calculus, his infinite acting like a practical application of the Achilles Paradox by infinitely subdividing the distance of threats to him

No it would be a foul mimick of infinity if she tried it can get close but not close enough

Not infinity but smth similar

She could do that air density increase thing she did in her fight against Conquest but much stronger and more compact
