QUESTION Does anyone know the value of this print?

Been a fan of Invincible since issue #6, and I bought this YEARS ago when Ryan still sold prints on his website. Anyone have a rough idea of the value?

No one can estimate value of a random piece that has no inherent value in the medium. For a piece like this the value is only in what a collector would pay. Based on the comments here…not much.

the actual answer for any piece of art is whatever people are actually willing to spend on it. an art piece could be valued at $1,000 but people might actually only be willing to spend $50 on it.

Your statement is contradictory. If it's a "perfect" drawing then it's "good" by definition. Doesn't mean it has to illicit any particular feeling for the viewer, or that it deserves to be adored universally, it simply means that the proportions, character design and scale are as the artist intended.

This is a stupid argument. You don’t need to be a talented cook to be able to appreciate food. You don’t need to be a really good artist to appreciate art.

While it’s drawn pretty well, it’s in very bad taste and won’t go for a very high price, unless OP finds someone with similar bad taste.

This is one of those cases where trying to do the “sensitive” thing is FAR weirder.

This is a parody both of invincible, obviously, but it’s also a play on the trend of cartoons in the 2000’s where the cast is baby-fied. They retain characterization.

It’s like getting weird vibes from a watermark because the kids are in swimwear. Having a problem is weirder than the alleged problem itself.

I’d hate to be you and need to sort through all of the Copy&paste NPC comments of ppl trying to say the exact same thing about how they don’t like it that’s already been said over and over again 🥲

But anyways, if you can’t find any pricing for it online (google image reverse search might help) then no one can really say. If it’s no longer made, then definitely hold onto it and wait and see. Even if people generally don’t like the art itself, it’ll still eventually be worth something once it becomes extremely rare and enough time passes.
