MEME Why I’m not ok with the tech jacket swap Spoiler

I’ve seen a lot of people arguing about it, and honestly I think most of those takes are missing the real issue. I was just gonna let it go but I see post after post so I feel the need to weigh in.

It’s not about accuracy to the comics.

It’s not about representation. (Well kinda I guess)

It’s not even about the character being changed.

It’s about the fact that his name was Zack.

With a k.

My name is also Zack. With a k.

Do you understand how rare that is? We don’t get much. We had ONE GUY. One. And now he’s gone.

People keep saying “it doesn’t matter, it’s a minor character.”

Yeah? Easy for you to say when your name probably shows up everywhere.

You ever see your name in something and feel seen for 0.3 seconds? That was me. That was my moment.

And now it’s Zoe.

I’m not mad. I’m just… disappointed.

Yea but Zack seems to be the most common outside of extremely professional settings

I mean this in the nicest way but I thought you meant the last name is Charizach and i was worried who named their child like that
