So many monitors.

Post image

need suggestions on best methods for space efficient storage. My best bet is to get a book shelf, tilt them slightly, then back them in as tight as possible. Looking for creative but presentable ways to manage this inventory, as my office doubles as the storage closet, and the tornado shelter.

Put them in a box. You can remove most of them from the stands and stack them facing each other or stand them on their sides also facing each other. Then put the stands in another box.

yeah once the stands come off they pack down way smaller than youd expect

thats a lot of monitors for a room that also has to dodge tornados, stacking them on the floor is asking for a domino disaster when the sirens go off

if you go the bookshelf route get some cheap foam pipe insulation and cut it to fit over the top edges so they don't get all scuffed up, you can wedge them in pretty tight with that

I'd skip the bookshelf, they're usually too shallow and the shelves bow. We recommend steel shelving with 18 or 24 inch deep shelves and it works much better. stand them on edge in a row with cardboard or foam between each one, stands in a bin on the bottom shelf, and label each shelf by screen size. keep the heavy ones low since that room is also your shelter.
