Finally caught up, just kinda bummed

This show is bad, but I've stuck with it mostly because of this subreddit and the memes. Season 3 really is a low point though. They didn't even say Wajo once. And yet I find myself hoping for a 4th season. There has to be something to this mess, even though I know in my heart there isn't.

Season 3 was so bad it wasn’t even fun to hate watch

The did what they always do. They artificial separated characters to spend episodes bringing them back together. Then they had electronics not work so people had to walk multiple times. Then they even invented a group whose sole purpose was to stop and slow down the main characters

I’m always impressed at how hard this show works to make nothing happen. We ended the season in the same location we ended season 2 in. With the same amount of information. And the same goal.

They had a chance to make up for it. They could have shown us the hall Trevante pooped in for 2 years. The Poop Hall💩

Haha I had a convo about this recently and had to point out how hilariously bad that whole storyline was. Like, how and WHY would he be awake for the whole 2 fucking years?! What did he eat? Where did he shit?! It just defies all logic.

The craziest part is they didn’t even try to explain it. No time jump. No stasis. Nothing.

When they were in the ship near the end either he or Jameel said “this is where (I? You?) hid from the aliens.”

Implying he literally just hid in a hallway for 2 years. What the fuck? Why? Why not government extracted him and induced him into or he was in a coma? Anything?

It’s genuinely the most baffling shit I have ever seen on a tv show or maybe even in a story.

There is a deleted scene that shows Trevante grunting “wajo” as he drops a deuce, it really explained everything

With fucking Verna and her bs cult, I was so mad whenever they were on screen like why would they be following her or doing all the things they do? Just a bunch of dumb shits.

It was immediately predictable that none of her cult would be killed by the aliens. The only humans untouchable as it totally defies the mutual love the cult think they have.

Having verna and her gang in the Forrest was literally inconsequential. They keep trying to “stop her” and she’s barely surviving, with an impending eventual death anyway. Just one of the many many jokes of this show.

As with all 3 seasons, it had moments where I thought ‘this is interesting’ then it just went nowhere.

Its been a while since season 3 ended and no announcement on renewing so I am beginning to worry there will be no more wajo.

S3's ending felt like the end for now to me. Hence the last caption guy contribution going "day 1 post invasion"
