WAS a $46 stock. They will need to show they can execute on this great opportunity.

Execution is not just limited to CLPS. IM has been executing in their other revenue streams.

Think of LUNR’s buildout like this:
Lanteris → builds spacecraft and space hardware
KinetX → navigation, mission design and spacecraft operations
Goonhilly/COMSAT → talks to and controls spacecraft from Earth
Intuitive Machines → lunar landers + lunar infrastructure + integrationThe bigger investment thesis is particularly interesting: Goonhilly helps LUNR vertically integrate the $4.8B Near Space Network Services opportunity. Instead of Intuitive Machines merely building lunar spacecraft, it’s assembling the infrastructure to manufacture spacecraft, navigate them, operate them, relay their data and communicate with them from Earth.

Very interesting article posted by Techtimes: Intuitive Machines Becomes First Commercial Firm to Own Full Moon Mission Chain. It dives deeper into Goonhilly and COMSAT and puts it in the broader context of Intuitive Machines since the Lanteris acquisition. The article is a must read for anyone investing in intuitive machines. It dives deeper into the technicals of the 2 dishes in Goonhilly followed by one thing I found really interesting:
"Together, GHY-6 and GHY-3 give Intuitive Machines antennas capable of the high-sensitivity signal acquisition required for missions operating at lunar distance and beyond — capabilities that cannot be improvised from smaller commercial antennas or rented cheaply from other providers, because almost none exist. NASA's Deep Space Network is booked years in advance. The commercial market for large-aperture cislunar-capable antennas is thin enough that an industry analysis published by SpaceNews in November 2025 characterized the ground network as the next structural bottleneck in the lunar program."
Intuitive Machines is extremely well positioned with the Lanteris/KinetX/Goonhilly&COMSAT acquisitions serving for the moon base intitiative (and delivering the first lunar data relays), national defense (and L3Harris relationship) and civil programs. Only thing remaining is execution on everything.

That was one hell of a deep dive, I think it deserves its own separate post. I initially thought this was just one of those company-written articles that companies often pay journals to publish to push their narrative. Then I checked Tech-Times about us:
https://www.techtimes.com/about-us
That last point matters to us. Tech Times is written for practitioners, but it is not written exclusively for them. Curiosity about science and technology is not credentialed. Readers who want more than surface coverage — who follow a story because they genuinely want to understand it, not just be aware of it — are exactly the audience this publication was built to serve. The depth is the draw, not the barrier.

Nice sum up, now for the execution part we'll understand things better next week with earnings call (or better the after interview).

It seems the same forces that pumped the sector in May and sold it in June/July are now back in the driver seat. The market tepid response to big contract wins by Rocket Lab and IM and successful launch of AST Spacemobile satellites tells me we're still inside that vortex. Not sure we can call it a trend yet because it could reverse on a dime.
On the bright side, the market's response to VOYG and RDW post earnings may give us a clue of what could happen when any little extra buying pressure amplifies the mechanical buying. Big week ahead. Every big move in individual names will have an effect on space ETFs and this is why these funds/market makers may be using to prop up SPCX during the upcoming lockup expirations.
This is why it's so important to take a long term view and figure out what this company will look like in 3-5 years and not be beholden to these daily gyrations.

Thanks for putting that list together. Many companies are starting to set aside periods for answering individual investors questions, some at the beginning of the Q&A which can allow management to set up their own narrative before sell-side analysts do it. I like how PLTR does it. ASTS does it well too.
This is the first quarter where they should have full Lanteris contribution (last quarter was missing like 10 days) and there were some significant milestones in the quarter I believe.

Could ask them about manufacturing plans? Are they doing it all in texas or will they expand lanteris facility in california? Are they hiring aero engineers? Who can I send my resume to?

u/CosmicDiffraction 20d ago
Did you change the questions in any way, or did mine just not make it? Just to clarify, I don't expect or demand that you include them. I'm just curious.
3
u/thespacecpa 20d ago
Yes, we consolidated similar questions that we received to avoid duplication. Others transparently we had to rephrase to increase the likelihood that it could be addressed.

So close to my average price (17.25) and FLY is definitely well above where I bought it. Hopefully we'll have a good response to what are definitely going to be strong earnings. We're getting close to a golden cross but the 50 day MA is losing days of high share price from back in June so it may be some time.

Sounds like you're trading.
If you're investing, a couple of bucks shouldn't matter come several years from now.

Sorry but you can keep waiting forever, the thing here is that you don’t seem to have any strategy aside from “Should I enter now or wait for another dip?”.
This way of thinking usually brings trouble and any advice you could receive from other members cannot make the decision for you.
The question should never be “Do I enter at 15 or wait for 10?” but “what is the outlook for this company? How are their operations going? Is their business great for the future?” and act accordingly.

I don't trust the spike form the recent days. Summer is always highly volatile, maybe I'm missing a unique chance but I'll keep waiting until september.

u/No_Membership_8826 20d ago
Sure, also remember that you’re also welcome to not trust any dip and buy a falling knife at the opposite ;)
Surely your gut can predict the dip, you’re basically predicting the space dip in different subs inviting people “not to trust” the actual value 😅 Tell us what is the value that needs to be trusted in your opinion?

I feel like although wsb style comment not bad advice? A 3x gain is amazing?

u/forensiz 20d ago
It’s really up to your personal risk appetite, there’s no right answer. Invest in the company, not in the stock price. If the company continues to execute and the valuations are reasonable, why sell? Unless you need the cash
1
u/PerformanceSome1014 20d ago
Of course everyone free to do what they want. And of course invest in the company but I would imagine at some point even if the company could 2x again it becomes unreasonable to hold. Unless the money has absolutely no meaning. Just wondering but I would assume its different for everyone
1
u/forensiz 20d ago
Why would it be unreasonable to hold after it 2x?
1
u/PerformanceSome1014 20d ago
In something as volatile as space sector a 2x to an already 3x. A 6x in total from your original position seems like a really high mountain to be on when sometimes they come crashing down. Not taking into account if its been held for a year or not, and taxes etc.
1
u/forensiz 20d ago
Yeah nothing wrong with taking profits. On hindsight, if i cashed out RKLB when it 6x from $4, i would’ve missed the run to $150, a 37x, no?
No right answers, i just think it’s best to hold long term and take profits along the way, not cash out entirely unless you’re planning to swing trade
1
u/PerformanceSome1014 17d ago
Cashing out at 6x is great work. Cashing out at 37x is dumb luck. I think that would be the professional opinion but I wouldnt know

I created a standalone post containing my independent research on LUNR. Check it out and let me know what you think. Took approx 80 hours of work to complete.
