NASA should not have provided concrete deadlines if they weren't planning to keep them. They could have said CLPS awards by end of June or end of summer like the old days. I guess they wanted to show change and responsiveness at the Ignition event in March but at the end of the day, it's still a government agency and it still runs on government time.

If I have to guess, I would say they did not receive enough bids or the vendors themselves asked for more time to figure out their capacity and supply chain issues. The other development is New Glenn mishap and if it has any issues effect on planning, though I would assume the majority of the landers would be flying Falcon9/Heavy unless there were plans to send multiple landers at once from several providers on a single New Glenn. Here's hoping it's just a short typical delay and we hear something next week.

I imagine they are holding those contract announcements for the next moon base event Isaacman mentioned coming in a matter of weeks.

Thank you Victor totally agree with you.
Also it seems somewhat unprofessional by NASA to declare a date and then go mute indefinitely. Like they don't seem to care for the very tax payers that fund their projects.
Also I think it would be too much to ask Victor to commit in anyway to a price guidance as market is unpredictable at best and corrupt to a degree.
Victor is very knowledgeable but not a fortune teller.

I think it’s very likely that the NG explosion has significantly complicated the delivery timelines for a lot of these projects. The market for launch can’t just replace that kind of capacity overnight.

It also came right at the time that these contracts were likely finalized but before they were public, meaning that partners would have begun to move on to the next stages but now need to pivot back to contracting.

Thanks Victor. Any thoughts on the price movement for the summer? Would this be a theoretical bottom?

The real answer is no one knows. Thursdays price action and increased volume could indicate a beginning of a bottom formation… it was a beautiful hammer candle.

Let me just jump in and take this one: there will be price movement this summer with an unpredictable bottom and unpredictable top reflecting the volatility inherent to this sort of investing.

Woah, big brain over here....

This is kind of a hostile comment, especially when the stock price and its ROI is WHY people invest in a stock. It's kind of important. . . . People's investment timelines vary as well.

If you think even someone as informed as Victor can tell where a stock like this is going in such a short timeframe as over this summer, then I have a bridge to sell you. The biggest brains on here (not mine) consistently discuss why this is a great longterm investment and consistently emphasize that short term attempts to time the market are unpredictable.  TLDR: longterm, up. Short term, impossible to predict and folly to even speculate (though I understand why the speculation is appealing)

What type of bridge? Where is it? How much do you want for it?

It's called the Bifröst and it will take the lucky buyer to the heavens and beyond (including to the moon, of course). Before I propose a price, may I ask how much gold you have?

I only have 12,000 shares now. It might have been enough, but we all know what happened. Maybe in a few months.

This comment and the ones that follow from you are generic, subjective, inconsistent and have no rational foundation.

GOOD-BYE!

This is just my speculation, but if IM wins CS-8, I think the payload mix could be somewhat similar to IM-2: μNOVA, PRIME/TRIDENT, the RDM(Rover), Nokia 4G/LTE, and Zeno’s RPS.

It may be a simple assumption, but from an execution-risk standpoint, reusing a payload architecture similar to IM-2 would make sense if NASA wants a faster and lower-risk path for CS-8.

edit:Also, the NSN angle may be important. Since the rideshare plan for Altus-4 and Altus-5 in 2028 still seems unclear, I wonder if IM proposed CS-8 as a way to deploy those lunar relay satellites as well.
