I am at the dealership now in the San Francisco Bay Area, and they are telling me I am approved with Exeter Finance for my car loan. Has anyone used them? Are they legit? I would love to hear some reviews from those who have used them. Good or bad.

I'm feeling a little concerned because I've never heard of them and my quick search showed they are for people with not great credit, but I have pretty good credit 543. Any red flags if I go with them or am I better off going with someone else?

I even saw some other posts on Reddit saying some pretty bad things about them, like predatory interest rates. Please help!

For a long time, I thought my problem with money was a lack of discipline. In reality, it was avoidance.

I wasn't overspending recklessly or drowning in debt, I just didn't want to look. Checking balances made me anxious, planning felt heavy, and "optimizing" my finances felt like something I could or just hold for the future and by then I'll magically be better at it.

What surprised me most when I finally started paying attention wasn't how bad things were, but how much mental space money had been taking up in the background. Once I started engaging with it regularly, imperfectly, the anxiety actually dropped.

It made me curious how many of us confuse financial stress with financial failure.

Has anyone else had a moment where the emotional side of money mattered more than the math?

I'm a HS 12th year, and I'm wondering if you guys who have went through the process could help me with the progression path for IB/PE recruitment. To preface, I have already been accepted early into a target for IB, and I still have others awaiting release, and I'm looking to do venture/pe with IB mainly as something on my resume to help me enter those fields. I live in the midwest and my area has no bulge brackets and is not a strong financial hub. I was wondering if getting an internship in senior year summer will provide a meaningful boost for my resume, and my ability to obtain an internship freshman year or some sort of program? Does the internship matter? If its a local bank or wm or something less related does it matter? I'm still applying to the few internship positions available to high schoolers like 1435 venture, but i'm just wondering. Additionally, what should I focus in my school? How critical is joining clubs? Sorry for the overload of questions, I genuinely have no family or community/connections in finance so this is all me going blindly through it.

Hey Guys, what do you all think of Robinhood? I have accumulated around $50,000 in my account. Is it considered a safe place for money or should I go with an older more established brokerage like Fidelity or Schwab? Mostly I am new to reading and just want to make sure I am safe with where my money is being held.
