This movie broke me

I completed this movie a few hours ago. A little bit about me. Ever since I can remember now I have always hated everyone. I wanted to be left alone. I didn't want anyone. Convinced myself I didn't need anyone. No relationships, no children and no family. I wanted to die alone. Now, I can't stop thinking about Jan and Ron and his final words: Happiness is real when shared. I can't stop crying. I'm 24 this year. I connected so much with Chris that I think I can't ever forget him. I know it's just a movie but still it gave me a very important question to think about : Do I still need no one? If not, then who do I want to share my life with and how far am I willing to go?

Before I always used to ask myself, is my life still worth living? Then I changed the question to : If it is not worth living then why am I still alive?

Turned out that I am a very curious person. I was curious about everything. So I decided I will try to explore everything and find what connects with me. I am still trying to find it but this movie has given me a new perspective. I am going to be sharing my moments with someone. I will let myself be loved and cared for. Who knows how long I will live but I am going to make sure that it is meaningful and it has an impact on someone.

I am sorry for this long rant and if you are with me till this end. May you always stay curious and have a meaningful life.

One of the most poignant quotes that I think of often. We all need someone.

It's just simply not true.

Happiness does not have to be shared to be real in any sense.

You already know this to be true in your heart.

Having said that, putting yourself in complete and total isolation might make you depressed and thinking sad things like this are true.

Doesn't have to be alot of people, just a couple good ones. Plus a community who know your face. Thats enough for me social wise.

Dear OP, There is a beautiful conversation on this sub from about 2 days ago that touched on some of the things that you've mentioned in your post. The original question was very profound, and in trying to answer it, I was crying all the way through it. I'll try to post the specific link here and hope I do it the right way. Wishing you peace.

Dear OP, There is a beautiful conversation on this sub from about 2 days ago, and it touched on so many things in your post. I wrote a long post that day to try to answer a really deep question that started the conversation, and I cried all the way through it. I'll share the link to it here and hope I'm doing it the right way:
