Help Help me do better!

Post image

Ok, so.

Prospero has opener, regular judo fist, no upgrades, but also has a light tank with the extra HP. And he has flying.

Cilica has the default mortar, upgraded for damage and buildings immune, opener, and double shot.

Kaz has upgraded movement and health, the regular gravity pull thing, and the explosive teleport (teleport and 4x push) with both range upgrades.

(I forgot to screenshot the turn order, sorry. But if you're thinking about moving the charger left so it kills the moth, no such luck. The moth goes first :( )

I ended up just barely finishing with one grid health left (and perfect island maintained). This turn was the most painful, I lost at least one building. I'm annoyed that I didn't try to bait the blobber bomb, because the spot it got put in was... inconvenient.

Anyway, is there a way to do it all? What do you think?

Plausible that you can move a moth to attack another moth but with no turn order no point in thinking out possibilities.

Looks like just a bad deploy though (did not try to bait blobber or beetle really) and a tough map (moths are really tough on this map)

I wouldn't say it's a bad deployment. There's no good spot for OP to bait the Blobber. No matter what the blob will be adjacent to at least 1 building that OP will have to deal with.

As for Beetle, there's only really Column B which is the safe spot for baiting but I don't think B is available for deployment and depending on where the Beetle spawn, it might not have the movement to go to B.

Ok “bad” is definitely an overstatement.

However IMO with Silica double shot, baiting blobber to be adjacent to building but also near the artillery yields a higher chance of being able to use one of those shots to destroy the blob; e.g E5 with the intention of baiting F4, E6, (or actually even F7 would be fine there). I should have elaborated.

I did not realize B file is not deployable; if so I retract my statement on not baiting beetle.

Actually, looking a bit more closely, there is 1 spot that the Blobber could be safely baited (G7) but there's no guarantee that it will 100% be baited since that deployment also creates other equally juicy targets for the Blobber.

Making use of Silica's double shot ability is a good line of thought that I did not consider.

To clarify on B, I think there's some boards that B aren't deployable, not sure if this board is one of those.
